BARRE PILATES WORKSHOP

Barre class is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.
Barre incorporates a unique series of moves like ballet squats, leg lifts, lunges, curtseys, arabesques, and pliés, all of which are designed to fatigue the muscle. This leads to stronger more resilient muscles over time.
Since barre incorporates a lot of ballet moves, it’s also great for improving flexibility and mobility. It’s gentle on your joints too and suitable for all ages and abilities.
Expect to sculpt the whole body by using a series of defined isometric movements interspersed with prolonged stretches to not only define but to also lengthen the muscles.
The workshop includes a 90 minute class and refreshments.
